Early in my life I discovered an artistic leaning. Unfortunately I never really pursued an education in the fine arts. I did dabble in ceramics, watercolor and gouache in the 80s and did a bit of calligraphy here and there. But, I wasn't cut out to be the starving artist type, so I set my sights on graphic design to pay the bills.

As family and career became my focus, my time for fine art became less and less...that is until recently. I was asked to consider how fine art can be reintroduced to contemporary Christianity and how this might be incorporated into the life of the church. I was intrigued.

I began to experiment once again with color and texture, choosing acrylics as a medium. I set out to present artwork as a reflection of truth and beauty in the world and saw paintings as a form of worship.

Currently, I am involved with an artisan's guild in Torrance, CA. This group of artists meet together monthly to dicuss faith and art as well as participate in church services. For more info. feel free to contact me.
